Synchromy opens our 2012-13 season featuring new original chamber works for trios, quartets, and quintets led by co-music directors; pianist Kevin Loucks, and violinist Iryna Krechkovsky, and joined by guest cellist Joo Lee. Synchromy is dedicated to bringing new music of living composers to Southern California, and this program will feature the works of Pierre Jalbert, Vytautas Barkauskas, Jason Barabba, Eric Guinivan, Vera Ivanova, and John Frantzen.
We're returning for this concert to Occidental College's Bird Studio. The studio is in the Booth Music and Speech Building, located on Bird Road, just inside campus from the entrance at the intersection of Campus Road and Ridgeview Avenue. Free and plentiful parking is available in the visitor parking lot, 1/2 a block up the hill on Campus Road.
